Martin Achrainer first trained as an actor at the renowned Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna before studying singing at the University of Music in Vienna. After his first years on stage at the Tyrolean Landestheater and the Opera National de Bordeaux (F), he moved to the Landestheater Linz for the 2009 season, where he is still a permanent ensemble member. His concert activities have taken the baritone to the Bregenz and Salzburg Festivals, the Göttingen Handel Festival, the BAM in New York and to major concert halls in Europe, Japan and the USA, where he has sung under renowned conductors. Achrainer has won prizes at numerous international competitions. He has recorded works by Philip Glass, Franz Schubert, Franz von Suppé, Hugo Wolf and others. Stefan Krimbacher enjoyed his first accordion lessons at the LMS Brixental. As a child and teenager in his home town of Westendorf, he played the accordion again and again at celebrations, concerts, masses and other occasions, both as a soloist and in a wide variety of ensembles. After his artistic preparatory studies at the Innsbruck Conservatory, he attended the Hohner Conservatory in Trossingen (D). Stefan is currently attending the Gustav Mahler Private University in Klagenfurt. He describes music with the following words: "To feel music is to feel healing - whether musician or listener. This makes every concert or teaching situation a special experience!"
