On 16th & 17th May 2026 in Angerberg everything will revolve around the theme of mountain biking. With the Mountain bike Marathon, the Kids Cup and the new Benefizlauf this little village in Region Hohe Salve is set to become a "paRADise" for sports fans. On both days a wide variety of sporty events for bike enthusiasts of all ages is set to take place.
eldoRADo Bike Festival inspires with lovely, scenic routes. All sports fans will find the perfect conditions in Angerberg’s natural surroundings and mountains, while fans and spectators are very well catered for too. The best ambience and exciting competitions are inevitable.

checkShower and changing options: Plenty of showers and changing rooms are available direct in the festival area in the secondary school premises.
checkStorage of clothing and valuables: There are no options available on site for storing clothing and valuables. Please keep your valuables with you.
checkBike washing areas: At the marathon event you can clean your bikes at the additional bike wash areas set up in the festival area.
checkHelmets compulsory: Helmets are compulsory on all routes. Please wear your helmet for the duration of the race.
checkAssistance with malfunctions: assistance from other riders, route personnel and supervisors is permitted at any time in the event of malfunctions.
checkMotorised companions on the race route: Motorised companions are strictly prohibited on the race route.
checkAbandoning the race: Riders who finish the race prematurely, must leave the course immediately and are not to impede subsequent race participants. Race abandonments are to be reported at the nearest route check point.
checkWeather conditions: The race will take place whatever the weather. Please wear appropriate clothing. The event organiser reserves the right to shorten the route or cancel in the event of extreme conditions.
Every year the Mountain bike Marathon attracts so many athletes to Region Hohe Salve. With three different route lengths, ranging from 35 – 88 kilometres, pleasure riders through to resolute riders are very well catered for.
Mountain biking youngsters of all age classes get to demonstrate their skills during the eldoRADo Kids Cup. The Kids Cup is an established race series for up-and-coming talent, and the event to kick off the season is held in Angerberg. On the cross-country course even the youngest riders get to compete on gravel, grass and asphalt.

The third Angerberg Charity Run – an inspiring event where sports and social engagement go hand in hand. Participants can look forward to a varied program with different runs for all age groups. Special highlight: surprise prizes for the top three finishers in each category (male/female). The loop around the Dreikleehalle offers a diverse route of about 1 km per lap, over asphalt and meadow paths. Every participant receives a well-deserved finisher medal. All net proceeds from this charity run go 100% to the Angerberg Social Fund. By taking part, you not only do sports but also make a strong statement of social solidarity in our community.

checkDuration: 1 hour, under 40 (U40) and over 40 (O40), both male and female; classifications taken from the most circuits completed in an hour.

checkShowers and changing facilities: Plenty of showers and changing rooms are available directly at the festival area in the primary school.
checkStorage of clothing and valuables: There is no option to store clothing or valuables on site. Please keep your valuables with you at all times.
checkBike wash stations: After the marathon, you can clean your bike at dedicated bike wash stations located at the festival area.
checkHelmet requirement: Helmets are mandatory on all courses. Please wear your helmet throughout the entire race.
checkTechnical support and medical assistance: Assistance from other riders, course staff, or support crews is permitted at any time in case of mechanical issues. A pick-up service is available in case of withdrawal or breakdown during the race. Medical support in emergencies is provided by Samariterbund / mountain rescue.
checkMotorized vehicles on the race course: Riding the race course with motorized vehicles is strictly forbidden.
checkWithdrawing from the race: Riders who end the race early must immediately clear the course and must not obstruct other participants. Withdrawal must be reported to the next course marshal.
checkWeather conditions: The race will take place in all weather conditions. Please dress accordingly. In extreme conditions, the organizer reserves the right to shorten the course or cancel the event.
