Weisenblasen meet-up
Making music together around the Kleine Salve – A day filled with sounds and mountainous scenery
On Sunday, 30st August 2026, the Weisenblasen meet-up is set to take place on the Kleine Salve in Itter for the first time – a special day, filled with music, community and nature. The musical opener will start at 10:00 with a celebratory mountain mass at Kleine Salve reservoir. Afterwards, the participating groups will conclude the fair with a joint musical performance and continue playing at the participating huts. At the KRAFTalm and in Alpengasthof Rigi an ambience-filled ’Frühschoppen’ brunch experience, complete with live music will ensure there is a convivial get-together.
The music highlights and the program of the 2026 Weisenbläsertreffen will be announced shortly.

The ‘Frühschoppen’ brunch event will take place whatever the weather. However, the mountain mass at Kleine Salve reservoir will move to the KRAFTalm chapel in the event of bad weather.
Horn players wearing lederhosen set the tone on the Kleine Salve. 
Enjoy a relaxing time in the guest snugs and on the sun terraces. Experience an unforgettable day at the Weisenblasen meet-up on the Kleine Salve, complete with Tyrolean culture and cuisine. The innkeepers at the Alpine inns serve delicious, typically Tyrolean, meals for you, while the musical entertainment is provided by the musicians who are taking part – a special cultural experience in the middle of the mountains in Tyrol.
