Welcome to the page of the Salventrail Itter in the Region Hohe Salve – a challenging trail running event set against picturesque landscapes and demanding routes. The venue is Itter in Tyrol, where participants can choose between exciting races: The Salventrail over 25 km, the Kraftalmtrail over 14 km featuring the Tyrolean Trail Classic Championship, the Kraftalmtrail over 10 km as the ideal route for beginners and young runners, as well as children’s races starting from 400 m.
The Salventrail 2026 will take place on 24 May 2026 in Itter. The mountain run is already scheduled for 23 May 2026. In addition, the Trail Classic will be held as the Tyrolean Championship

* The Kraftalm can only be accessed with the Salvistabahn and is not accessible by car . Runners who are taking part in the Salventrail have the opportunity to travel free of charge in the Salvistabahn. All you have to do is show your start number. Spectators and trainers have the option to purchase travel tickets for the ascent and descent to the intermediate station at the Salvistabahn valley station pay desk. A free shuttle bus service is also available between Itter secondary school and Salvistabahn valley station.
