From the car park you reach the door to the apartment Zirbennest via a separate entrance. The name derives from the fragrant healthy Stone-pine beds. Directly above the village of Itter, at almost 800m above sea level, you have the Kitzbühel Alps right before your eyes. The view stretches from the entrance of the Kelchsau Valley to the Inn Valley. Let yourself be surprised by the impressions of nature at any time of the day! You'll be amazed at the different scenarios that open up as the seasons change. A small garden with a seating area is available directly in front of the flat. Enjoy your meals outside, take in the view, let your gaze wander over the villages and mountains or treat yourself to some quiet time with a good book in the hammock. Whether you feel like action or prefer relaxing in the quiet - it is all up to you what you choose from the various options our mountain region is offering.
In summer there are several lifts in close vicinity to choose from if you feel like hikes up to about 1900m. The numerous mountain inns will treat you to food and drinks. If you want to reach even higher peaks you find them in the near Kaiser mountains. Open-air swimming pools or mountain lakes to cool down, a wide network of cycling paths, mountain bike or downhill trails are available in sufficient numbers. Bring your sports equipment with you or rent it on site.
In winter you find yourself at the entrance of one of the largest, connected ski areas worldwide, SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser- Brixental, with about 90 state-of-the-art lifts and approx. 280km of pistes . Ski tours, cross-country skiing, tobogganing, snowshoe hikes with refreshment stops in one of the many mountain huts are only a few possibilities for activities.
You can find countless shopping opportunities in the surrounding towns such as in Kitzbühel, Kufstein, or Innsbruck. Goods for your daily needs are available nearby in Itter, Hopfgarten or Wörgl.
