Christmas trail in Itter

Experience the magical Christmas season in the heart of the Region Hohe Salve on the unique Itter Christmas Trail Itter. The tranquil village of Itter is transformed into a sparkling winter fairy tale that not only makes children's eyes light up. 1000 torches - set up by the Ski Club Itter - light up the wintry, snowy trail through the small village in the Holiday Region Hohe Salve. Indulge in culinary treats served up by the landlords and clubs at the various stations.

This event was planned according to the criteria of GREEN EVENT TIROL basic.
As dusk falls over Itter and around 1,000 torches illuminate the path, the idyllic village is transformed into an atmospheric Christmas wonderland. Under the motto “In the besinnlichen Zeit in Ruhe z’sammkemma”, the Region Hohe Salve invites you to an unforgettable Advent experience for the whole family.
The romantic Christmas trail leads from the village centre along the picturesque Rosenweg to Schusterhof. Along the route, lovingly decorated stations, festive music and the enticing aroma of regional specialities await you. Enjoy savoury and sweet treats as well as warming hot drinks that showcase Advent at its most beautiful.
A special highlight for young and old are the alpacas, which invite you to take a walk, cuddle and get to know them at the Liftweg. Husky teams also provide excitement for children, taking young guests on a very special ride with their enthusiasm and eagerness to run.
For a relaxed journey, we kindly ask you to use public transport whenever possible. The local Taxi Eddy from Itter is also available for return trips by prior telephone reservation.

Travelling to the event
Travelling to the atmospheric Christmas trail in Itter is easy and convenient by bus - we ask you to travel in a climate-friendly way. The nearest bus stop is Itter Dorf, from where you can reach the Christmas trail in just a few minutes. You can also use the Hohe Salve Guest Card to use the bus connections within the region free of charge. The regional taxi company Taxi Eddy from Itter is ready for pick-up upon call.
Note: The Itterer Dorfstraße and Itterer Straße are not available for parking.
