With approximately 1,200 inhabitants and at about 703m above sea level, Itter is located directly at Hohe Salve, the most beautiful viewpoint mountain in Tyrol. Here, alpine nature, lived tradition, and diverse vacation experiences come together.
In the winter, Itter is the ideal entry point for the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental, one of the largest interconnected ski areas in Austria.
In the summer, the region around Kleine and Hohe Salve transforms into a spacious and nature-connected hiking and bike area. The Tyrolean mountain world can be perfectly explored from Itter.
