One of the biggest sports events in Pillerseetal: the annual Biathlon World Cup in Hochfilzen. This major event attracts countless visitors every year from near and far to the small holiday resort and offers exciting competitions and a great supporting programme. Fans from across the world travel to the competition events to support their idols and experience the ambience in the stadium live. Mass start as well as sprint and relay races for women and men are on the programme every year at the beginning of December. Apart from the world cups, Hochfilzen has also hosted three world championships, in the years 1978, 2005 and 2017. Don’t miss out on this exciting sports event and be there live!

Visitors to the BMW IBU Biathlon World Cup can purchase seats, grandstand tickets, track tickets and VIP tickets online via the event's official ticket shop or from the ticket office on site (directly at the OK office in Hochfilzen and via email: tickte@biathlonhochfilzen.at). With screens in the stadium and along the course, all spectators who are there live are kept up to date! There is also plenty to do in the Pillerseetal valley away from the competitions. Guests can relax and unwind after the exciting competition days at the Kulturhaus in the centre of Hochfilzen or at numerous other locations in the Pillerseetal valley with live music and culinary highlights. When the trail becomes a stage and the stadium turns into a festival zone, sporting excitement blends with a vibrant party atmosphere. In the FanVillage, food trucks, prize draws, and interactive activities provide daily variety. On the ORF Tirol Stage, DJ Alex Weber creates a party mood, while Ross Antony, Petra Frey, and CARO – Helene Fischer Tribute warm up the audience for the evening programme with short performances. Those who prefer a more relaxed setting will find the perfect spot in the FanHall: fans from all over the world enjoy Tyrolean hospitality and live music from the Danzl Manda, singing along and celebrating together.

Buy a public transport event ticket and travel stress-free!
You can purchase a public transport event ticket for the respective event day in advance at www.vvt.at. The public transport event ticket is valid as a ticket for travelling to and from the biathlon event in Hochfilzen throughout Tyrol on all VVT public transport connections.
*Valid on the day of the event for the outward and return journey throughout Tyrol for all means of transport of the VVT in local traffic (except Kernzone Innsbruck, ÖBB IC, ÖBB EC, ÖBB Railjet and WESTbahn).
Shuttle buses also run in the Pillerseetal region and from Saalfelden via Leogang to Hochfilzen.

Tickets can be ordered online at www.ticket-onlineshop.com. Tickets with a discount (handicap, wheelchair users, fan clubs, travel agencies) can only be booked directly via the OC Office (Tel. 43.5359.20120 or ticket@biathlonhochfilzen.at).
Yes, all grandstand tickets also entitle the holder to access the track.
Yes, discounted tickets are available. 50% discount for handicapped persons (with a degree of 60% or more) for standing room (A or B) and for the track area. There is also a 50% discount for wheelchair users and one accompanying person.
These tickets cannot be booked online, but only directly via the OC office (Tel. +43.5359.20120 or ticket@biathlonhochfilzen.at).
Children are free up to and including the age of 5. From the age of 6, children's rates apply - please bring your ID!
A limited number of car parking spaces are available.
However, it is recommended that spectators travel easily by shuttle or train.
On the competition days the cash desk is open daily from 08.15 am to 03.15 pm.
On competition days, the stadium is open daily from 09.00 am to 05.00 pm.

Yes, the wheelchair stand is located directly in front of stand B and is only accessible for wheelchair users and 1 accompanying person.
