One of the biggest sports events in PillerseeTal: the annual Biathlon World Cup in Hochfilzen. This major event attracts countless visitors every year from near and far to the small holiday resort and offers exciting competitions and a great supporting programme. Fans from across the world travel to the competition events to support their idols and experience the ambience in the stadium live. Mass start as well as sprint and relay races for women and men are on the programme every year at the beginning of December.
