ET8 | Alpina Antica Trail

This stage is a real challenge: one of the longest stages with an ascent of almost 1,300 m awaits you. But it is well worth it: both the long climb to the 2,029 m high Schöntaljoch at the beginning as a variant of the old mule track over the Stangenjoch and the subsequent high-altitude hike between Rettenstein and Wildkogel are worth every effort. A wonderful view of the glaciated three-thousand-metre peaks of the Venedigergruppe is included.
