Summer is celebrated in the traditional way at the Brixental Mountain Lights: In Kirchberg, Brixen im Thale, Westendorf, Hopfgarten and Itter, clubs and local hosts light over 50,000 torches on the mountainsides. This creates impressive fire images - from the music lyre to the skier. When darkness falls, the freshly mown meadows in Brixental Valley are transformed into flaming works of art. An atmospheric supporting program with mountain light festivals and evening lift rides makes the experience perfect.
