As early as 3000 years ago, copper and silver was mined in this region. The mines in Jochberg, take you back in time. The old miners carts take you along the 145 meter long shaft, from where a guide will explain and demonstrate the different mining techniques, tools and areas.

Nationalparkzentrum Hohe Tauern

Experience nature under cover. Silberbergwerk Schwaz

Wildpark Aurach

Enjoy nature all year round. The Aurach wildlife park, with the largest enclosure in the Tirol, is a paradise for all animal lovers. There are over 200 animals, including red deer, stags, mountain goats, Tibetan yaks, wild boar, kangaroos, barbery apes, uhus, and also a kids petting zoo. The highlight of the day is the feeding time at 14.30. A pleasant walking route takes you from Kitzbühel to Aurach (45 min.) and a road to the wildlife park (4 km).
