Kitzbüheler Alpen KAT Walk Winter (c) Kitzbüheler Alpen - Erwin Haiden Etappe 2 (5).jpg

Tour information

We start at the information office in Kirchberg, cross the village square, walk into Reithergasse and from there over the bridge to arena365 and along the Ache river towards Kitzbühel. In the district of Klausen, we turn right towards the Schwedenkapelle. There we cross the main road, pass the Schwedenkapelle on the cleared forest road, the cleared winter hiking trail turns right towards the Fleckalmbahn and leads us into the district of Klausen and via Wötzing and Tannerbauer back to Kirchberg. If you choose the large Klausenbergrunde, it is recommended to have snowshoes with you, as this path is not cleared. This ascent leads via a forest path and further to the Gasthof Staudachstube. The path leads us downhill to the mountain road to the Fleckalm, where we first turn left and at the next opportunity right again to reach the beautifully situated Gauxerbauernhof, from here it goes across meadows and forest paths to the Tannerbauer and back to Kirchberg.
