Tour information

The starting point of this hike is the Infobüro Hopfgarten. From there, follow the signs towards the Salvenbahn valley station. Shortly before the valley station, turn right onto Lindrainweg. Following path no. 65, past the Sunnseit Hütte, you reach the middle station of the Salvenbahn. To continue to the Salvenalm, follow the course of the road.
You can return to the starting point via the same path.

Getting there Coming from Innsbruck/Munich: A12 exit Wörgl Ost – feeder road B178 towards St. Johann i. T. & Kitzbühel – after the tunnel take the exit towards Hopfgarten – at the roundabout take the exit onto the B170 towards Hopfgarten – in Hopfgarten turn left before the railway underpass towards Salvena – follow the signs to the destination.

Coming from Kitzbühel: B170 Brixentalstraße towards Wörgl – in Hopfgarten after the second railway underpass take the first exit on the right towards Salvena – follow the signs to the destination
Public transport Train: Hopfgarten Berglift station

Bus: Hopfgarten Berglift station

Regional Guest Card = train ticket from Kirchbichl to Hochfilzen + bus ticket from Mariastein to Kitzbühel included!
Valid on ÖBB local trains (S, REX) and InterRegio trains (IR) between Kirchbichl - Wörgl and Hochfilzen
