Winter hiking Brixner Gangl

We start this circular hike in the centre of Brixen im Thale. Shortly after the Knauer butcher shop, we turn right onto the track at the top of the hill until we reach the gate. This path is also known as the "Schneckgasse". We follow this romantic lane until it meets the "Zinting" trail, where we keep right and head downhill. At the Reitlwirt, we cross the village street and subsequently pass through the railway underpass. We follow the asphalt road for approx. 50 m and turn left into a field path. At the end of this field path (which runs along the railway line), we keep right and can already see the first farms of the hamlet of "Feuring". Before the Weberhof (riding stables), we turn left and follow the  access road to the Rieserbauer. Shortly after the farm, we branch off to the right onto a field path that leads us onto a road. Following the road downhill, we cross the bridge on the left. The forest path on the "Schattseite" of Brixen leads us to a wide track  and we follow this, keeping  right until we reach a large playground. Shortly before the playground, we keep left and after approx. 5 minutes we reach the centre of Brixen im Thale.
