Alpina Antica Trail

The Alpina Antica Trail is a cross-border long-distance hiking trail with 38 daily stages, connecting historic mule tracks and ancient pilgrimage routes from Chiemsee via Kirchberg, Mittersill, Heiligenblut, Kötschach-Mauthen, Venzone to Venedig. The route leads across the Alps from the Bavarian Sea to the Adriatic through numerous small historic towns and traditional villages, diverse natural and cultural landscapes, impressive stream and river sceneries, and offers hikers a unique experience between the Alpine foothills, mountains, valleys, and Mediterranean destinations – ideal for hikers enthusiastic about nature and culture.
