St. Johann in Tirol - Kalkstein - Baumooskogel

The tour leads from the centre of St. Johann to Oberhofen, then along a forest path to the hamlet of Scheffau. Shortly after Scheffau, the path turns into a forest road, which you follow to the Baumooskogel turn-off (1506 m). Via the Baumoosalm and the Leiteralm you reach the Stockerhof, which invites you to take a rest on the wall.
You return to the valley via Habach. From there you hike along the Großache back to St. Johann in Tirol.

Alternative:
At the Stockerhof turn-off, keep in the direction of Aiglsau and hike along the forest path along the Krebsbach stream to the chapel in Mitterndorf. From there, walk back to the centre.
