Bus and train travel is included with your guest card!
The many advantages of the guest card are obvious! You can enjoy numerous discounts in the St. Johann in Tirol region and at destinations near and far. You also benefit from a wide range of transport options. The St. Johann Card includes regional rail connections (valid on ÖBB regional trains (S, REX) and InterRegio trains (IR) between Wörgl and Hochfilzen. Not valid on RJ, RJX, EC, IC, ICE, D and NJ/EN trains) and, until the beginning of December 2025, regional VVT buses. The guest card serves as a valid ticket at no additional cost. Leave your car behind and travel comfortably through the region by bus or train!
From winter 25/26, the Okto Bus will be available in the St. Johann in Tirol region: from June to October, the Okto Hiking Bus will run, and from December to March, the Okto Winter Sports Bus will run for guests and locals. From the beginning of December 2025, regional VVT buses will no longer be included.

Tourist tax in the St. Johann in Tirol region!
To promote tourism in Tirol, a legally prescribed tourist tax, the local tax, is levied on overnight stays. With the local tax you contribute to the financing and development of the tourist infrastructure in our region. The tourist tax is used for the maintenance of hiking & cycling trails, signposting, cross-country ski trail maintenance, advertising brochures, ski bus, use of regional bus & train connections, weekly programme & events, and much more.
