A free bus service for the towns of St. Johann in Tirol, Oberndorf, Kirchdorf and Erpfendorf!

In the St. Johann in Tirol region, locals and visitors can use the Okto Bus free of charge. The bus system provides convenient access to popular hiking destinations, ski areas and even more remote hamlets on various routes in both summer and winter.

The winter sports bus replaces the classic ski bus and is intended for use by skiers, cross-country skiers and winter hikers. The winter sports buses tour the region on six routes, serving remote hamlets such as the Hinterkaiser area as well as the valley stations of the mountain railways and popular winter hiking and cross-country skiing trails. Use of the bus is free of charge for guests and locals alike, even in winter.

With the new bus system, via five different routes, popular hiking destinations and more remote hamlets can be conveniently accessed.

The five ‘Okto Wanderbus’ routes have been carefully selected to offer greater coverage. For example, the various bus routes lead, from Monday to Friday (including public holidays), from Hinterkaiser to Weitau, to Eberhartling in Oberndorf, to Griesenau, to Hinterberg to Teufelsgasse, to Erpfendorf and to Oberhofen in St. Johann in Tirol.
