With the St. Johann Card you can leave your car parked up, since Okto bus and train connections in the St. Johann in Tirol region are included as part of your Guest Card services. Thanks to the transport policy, your St. Johann Card is also your valid travel ticket. The Guest Card is provided direct by your accommodation provider. As a guest in the St. Johann in Tirol region, this means you can use your Guest Card as a train ticket. You can use all the ÖBB local services from Kirchbichl to Hochfilzen free of charge. Every day there are 18 train stations and 60 suburban trains available, on a route length spanning some 66 km. On weekdays trains run every half hour between Wörgl and Hochfilzen. Valid on ÖBB regional trains (S, REX) and InterRegio trains (IR) between Wörgl and Hochfilzen. Not valid on RJ, RJX, EC, IC, ICE, D and NJ/EN trains. For day trips throughout Austria, there are special promotional tickets available from transport providers.
Please note that VVT regular bus services will no longer be included in the visitor’s pass from December 2025. Tickets can be purchased conveniently online or on the bus.
With the Kitzbühel Alps Guest Card you can explore the excursion destinations in the Kitzbühel Alps quickly and easily by train. Valid on ÖBB regional trains (S, REX) and InterRegio trains (IR) between Wörgl and Hochfilzen (Kirchbichl, Wörgl, Hopfgarten, Kirchberg, Kitzbühel, St. Johann in Tirol, Fieberbrunn and Hochfilzen). Not valid on RJ, RJX, EC, IC, ICE, D and NJ/EN trains. You can obtain the Kitzbühel Alps Guest Card from your landlord on site or the mobile guest card before your arrival. With this card you also receive numerous discounts and reductions for excursion destinations in and around the Kitzbühel Alps.
With your valid guest card, you can park for free at the railway stations while using public transport! Please make a copy of your Guest Card or use the template and place it in a visible position on the dashboard of your car. A copy of your Guest Card is also your parking ticket for the designated Park & Ride car parks in the train stations in the region. You can use the following Park & Ride parking areas: Hopfgarten, Westendorf, Brixen im Thale, Kirchberg in Tirol, Kitzbühel, St. Johann in Tirol, Fieberbrunn and Hochfilzen
