Ski bus & train

The "Okto Bus"-winter sports buses in the towns of St. Johann in Tirol, Oberndorf, Kirchdorf and Erpfendorf take you free of charge to the ski areas in the region. During the season buses operate daily between the St. Johann in Tirol/Oberndorf, Kirchdorf, Erpfendorf ski area and the Steinplatte. This service is available to all locals, guests, skiers, cross-country skiers, snow-shoe hikers, winter hikers and tobogganers. The classic ski bus transforms into a winter sports bus, offering an expanded range of services for all winter activities. Six carefully planned routes provide convenient access to all the region's key locations, including remote hamlets, all cable car valley stations, and the most attractive starting points for cross-country and hiking trails. Best of all: the service is free for both guests and locals.

With the St. Johann Card you get to use all the local trains from Wörgl to Hochfilzen free of charge. Your St. Johann Card is also your ticket for the free Park & Ride facilities at the train stations. All you need to do is attach a copy of your Guest Card on the inside of your windscreen to be able to park your car free of charge while you enjoy your day of skiing.

As a guest in the region, you receive the St. Johann Card, your personalised Guest Card, when you arrive at your accommodation.
