Concert: Stucky Fingers

Swiss-American musician and performer Erika Stucky, born in San Francisco, is often described as a unique fusion of Laurie Anderson, Frank Zappa, and Pippi Longstocking. With her musical accomplices, she confidently navigates between alpine idyll and urban nightmare. The new program invites you to encounter the well-known hits from Sticky Fingers with a fresh, vocal avant-garde: raw, sensual, witty, and edgy. 


“Sticky Fingers” is considered one of the best albums by the Rolling Stones. But that doesn’t mean it can’t be – perhaps – done even better. Surely, but differently: Erika Stucky takes on the challenge in her new program. In doing so, Erika Stucky explores the essence of the song and tinkers not only with its structure but also with its soul. “Sticky Fingers” is reimagined through Stucky's unmistakable voice, humor, and poetic subversion. She weaves jazz inserts, cabaret charm, and a dash of rock aesthetics into a kaleidoscopic, filmic stage design. As always, her self-made Super8 films are part of the experience.
