This impressive hike through the three valleys of the Kitzbühel Alps — Hopfgarten, Kelchsau and Windautal — combines alpine nature experiences, living mountain culture and scenic pleasure hikes. Starting in the charming village of Hopfgarten in the Brixental valley, the route winds through the pristine mountain landscape of Kelchsau, passing traditional farms, tranquil alpine pastures and picturesque high-altitude trails, before reaching the serene, untouched Windautal valley. The varied stages lead through open alpine pastures and wooded ridges to panoramic peaks, and easier or more challenging circular tours are available depending on your mood and fitness level. A particular highlight is crossing to Lodron, one of the Kitzbühel Alps' best panoramic mountains, which boasts an impressive 360-degree panorama stretching from the Wilder Kaiser to the glaciated peaks of the Hohe Tauern. This multi-day hiking tour offers scenic diversity, alpine vistas and warm Tyrolean hospitality, providing an intense yet relaxing mountain experience.
