The Kitzbühel Alps are well accessible by train not only from Austria, but also from abroad. While you lean back in the train, read, sleep or simply enjoy the scenery passing by, the train will get you no traffic jams guaranteed to your holiday destination in Tirol. That’s how your holiday begins already when making your way here! Almost all Kitzbühel Alps towns are located near train stations with international train connections. If your accommodation is not located directly near a train station, a train station shuttle will be there to transfer you at low cost. In your Kitzbühel Alps Guest Card all local trains within the region between Wörgl and Hochfilzen (except IC, EC and RailJet) are included. Getting to the Kitzbühel Alps with the German Railways

Travel now with the German Railways from as little as € 37.80 into the Kitzbühel Alps towns and back home again. The Kitzbühel Alps can be reached with 7 daily direct services for long-distance travel as well as numerous easy connections with transfer, by train quickly, relaxed and without traffic jams. Almost all Kitzbühel Alps townships have a train station and good connections from Wörgl main station.

With the budget prices by the German Railways you can travel to Tirol on longer routes from as little as €37.90 (2nd class and one-way, as long as stocks last). Shorter services are available from as little as € 18.90 one ticket for a one-way trip e.g. Munich - Kirchberg in Tirol. BahnCard customers always travel low-cost with the BahnCard-discounts. From Wörgl you can take public transport to your holiday resort - one of the 20 Kitzbühel Alps resorts. Travel comfortably, low-cost, fast and environmentally friendly by Railjet to Tirol.

From as little as € 24.90 you can now travel, for example, from Vienna to Kirchberg, St. Johann in Tirol, Fieberbrunn, Hopfgarten or Wörgl. On shorter routes such as from Villach to St. Johann in Tirol you can travel from € 9.00 by train to your holiday destination.

With the ÖBB Nightjet - night train to Tirol

The ÖBB Nightjet services from Hamburg and Düsseldorf are perfect for holidaymakers from the Rhine-Ruhr region, NRW, Hesse and Northern Germany. This way you’ll travel overnight and get to the Kitzbühel Alps and Wörgl well rested the next morning. Your advantage: You’ll save yourself a long and mostly stressful car trip. You want to take your car or motorbike with you? Travellers on the ÖBB Nightjet from Düsseldorf can take their car, motorbike or bicycle with them. Please note that vehicle loading and unloading is only possible at the railway stations Düsseldorf and Innsbruck. The ÖBB Nightjet from Hamburg can only carry bicycles.

With this ticket, maximum 2 adults and up to 3 children (under 15 years) can use all means of local transport within Tirol for one day. The ticket is not necessarily aimed at families. It is also valid for two adults without children, one adult with four children or for a group of five children. Get the ticket for only € 34.00. Note: Long-distance trains such as InterCity, EuroCity and Railjet are excepted from the ticket!
