Trail Tour Rauher Kopf - Sun Trail

This tour is a very beautiful extension of the Rauhen-Kopf-Runde and also includes a descent via the Sun Trail to Brixen.Just below the "Kaiserblick" viewpoint, switch to route 288 and ride towards Brixen im Thale. Pass the Obingalm and take the new connecting path via a few gravel bends up to the Gsengweg, continue left to the starting point of the Sun Trail (S0-S1), which leads 2.5km down into the valley. Follow the road to the railway station in Brixen, go through the underpass and return to the starting point via the Brixental-Radweg.Those who continue on cycle path 299 to the Berggasthof Nieding can easily bypass the Sun Trail. From Nieding, take the paved Sonnbergstraße down into the valley to Brixen.
