Tour information

The starting point for this tour is the Wasserfeld P3 car park. From there, follow the B170 regional road towards Itter. After the Laiminger garden centre, turn right and then immediately left through the underpass, following the old main road to the cycle path towards Bruckhäusl and on to Wörgl. Leave Brixentaler Str. at the junction by the Sparkasse Wörgl. Finally, cycle along Wildschönauer Straße over the Hennersberg into Niederau.At the junction in the centre of the village, turn left and cycle along Grafenweg via Hopfgarten back to the starting point.

  • Coming from Innsbruck/Munich: A12, take the Wörgl Ost exit – follow the B178 towards St. Johann im Tirol and Kitzbühel – after the tunnel, take the exit towards Hopfgarten – at the roundabout, take the exit onto the B170 towards Hopfgarten – in Hopfgarten, turn right after the railway underpass towards Kelchsau – car park on the right-hand side
    Coming from Kitzbühel: B170 Brixentalstraße towards Wörgl – in Hopfgarten, after the sawmill, turn left before the underpass – towards Kelchsau – car park on the right-hand side
  • bus: Hopfgarten Berglift 

    train: Hopfgarten Berglift


    Guest card of the region = train ticket from Wörgl to Hochfilzen + bus ticket from Mariastein to Kitzbühel included
    Valid on ÖBB local trains (S, REX) and InterRegio trains (IR) between Kirchbichl - Wörgl and Hochfilzen.
    Not valid on RJ, RJX, EC, IC, ICE, D and NJ/EN trains.
