St. Johann Runde

The starting point of our cycling loop is in Kirchberg in Tirol. We ride towards Kitzbühel until we reach the Schwarzee; before the Schwarzsee, we turn left towards Reith and continue for a short stretch on the Reither Straße.  At the Gasthof Reinache, we turn right onto the narrow Rerobichlstraße and cross the Rerobichl. From the summit, follow the paved descent until just before the center of Oberndorf, then take the Dorfbachweg past the districts of Sperten and Weitau to St. Johann in Tirol. Once there, head towards the center, but turn right shortly before it towards the Bergbahnen St. Johann. Crossing the railroad tracks, continue following this side road, pass the Egger chipboard plant on the left, and follow the Römerweg, which stays beautifully situated along the slope. In the Oberndorf area, you follow the Römerweg for several kilometers, passing magnificent farmhouses. Pass under the Hornbahn and by the medical center, continue along the slope on the Traunsteigerweg through the underpass, and finally reach the town center of Kitzbühel before returning to Kirchberg.
