The tour can be started from any place along the route.
We start this tour from the village centre of Bruckhäusl and ride on cycling path n°14 in the direction of Söll. At first we follow the gravel path along the Brixentaler Ache river before continuing for about 200m on the Loferer Bundesstraße (federal road). We leave the federal road by turning left uphill to the Oberluechhof farm. The farm on the Roman Road is more than 500 years old and very impressive. It is also worth taking a detour to Helene Mayr’s shop for bridal and traditional fashion, which is located on the farm.
We ontinue along the Römerweg, always accompanied by a great view and above the valley and go past beautifully decorated farms, to the Itter district of Mühltal, where we can fortify ourselves at the traditional Gasthof Rösslwirt before continuing past the brand-new Salvista gondola lift in Itter on cycle path no. 14 in the direction of Söll.
Immediately after the Itter cable car, we cycle through the underpass past the Ager Speck company and always along the Luecher Bach stream in the Steinerbach district. At the Ledererbauern farm (opposite is the Denggenhof farm), we turn left and immediately right again, and continue past beautiful meadows to the Pirchmooser Chapel built in 1896 and shortly afterwards downhill through the district of the same name back to the centre of Söll.
In Söll, we pass the fire brigade and go through the district of Gänsleit. After the underpass we cycle along the Stampfangerbach stream until we reach the junction with cycle path no. 28, the Eibergradweg. We follow this path, with the Hohe Salve always behind us, past the Oberstegen inn, the Eiberg quarry and cement works to Egerbach.
There, shortly after the crossroads at Holzbau Lengauer-Stockner, we leave cycle path no. 28 by continuing straight on to Schwoich instead of turning right. A short steep climb leads past the Schwoich district of Ried and the Schellhorn equestrian farm to a long crossroads. There we take the turn diagonally left and continue along the gravelled foot and cycle path along a small stream. We turn left at the football pitch and immediately right again and ride past the Schwoich banana lake. A cool down there is of course highly recommended! Shortly after Sonnendorf - one may want to make a detour to the Bierol craft beer brewery - the cycle route turns left and continues along quiet side roads through Aufing. In Habring we cycle diagonally right through rustic farms onto the federal road which we follow for a short distance to the centre of Bad Häring.
From Bad Häring, the tour leads along the main road, Schönauer Straße, southwest towards Wörgl. From the Hotel Panorama Royal, the route goes steeply downhill on the Gasteigstraße. At the first crossroads we turn left into Anzensteinstraße and after another 350 m right again into Badweg (at the level of the car repair shop). We turn left again onto Hans Neuner Straße until we reach Loferer Straße, which we cross to reach cycle path 14 along the Brixentaler Ache river. We now follow the gravelled cycle path into the valley - always along the river - to the starting point of our tour.
