Auf den Spuren des KAT Walk - Alpin Etappe 4

On 76 kilometers of mountain air and sun, soak up the air, take a deep breath, meet people and yourself, find inner peace, see new perspectives and take credit for everyday life - that is the KAT Walk, the long-distance hiking trail through the Kitzbühel Alps.
Get a taste of the first long-distance hiking air with our guides on selected sections.
A varied hike in absolute tranquility, past several historical alpine buildings and a high moor near the Hintenkarscharte, as well as a waterfall near the stage destination. Pronounced alpine rose areas above the Scheibenschlag Hochalm. Fantastic views of the surrounding mountains, the ice giants of the Hohe Tauern and the striking summit of the Großer Rettenstein that is within reach. The paths are usually not too difficult, only classified as moderate in the area on both sides of the Hintenkarscharte. Because of the length of around nineteen kilometers, you should be in good shape.
Your mountain guide will explain everything about geology to you, answer your questions about the mountain world of the Brixental and spend a great day hiking with you.
Participation is free.
