For the 26th time already, more than 2,000 active mountain bikers start at the KitzAlpBike - Festival 2022. With that, one of the largest mountain bike festivals in Austria again reaches its climax in June. But not only active cyclists will get their money’s worth. This highlight is also a true experience for the spectators.

On the toughest and longest distance, 100 km and 4,300 m difference in altitude must be negotiated. At the so-called recharging stations, race participants are provided with snacks and beverages time and again. The favourites lived up to their billing and won in the various competitions. Participants constantly have Grosser Rettenstein mountain behind them or in their field of view. The Kitzalpbike-Marathon is the highlight of the whole Festival-Week. On the steep slope of Choralpe, participants were cheered on by the crowd. The unique panorama of the Kitzbühel Alps makes the race a true experience.
