KAT Walk Compact stage 2: Primeval drama - From gentle grass mountains to special geological features
The Bärstättalm is located on a small plateau on the Gaisberg and is accessible from the Gaisberg lift in about 30 minutes on foot. From the mountain station of the Alpenrosenbahn, the hike takes about 1 ½ hours.
The culinary concept is based on regional and seasonal products. Predominantly local ingredients are used, with purchases made as much as possible in the Brixental.
A partially covered viewing terrace offers an unobstructed view of Kirchberg. The mountain hut is only open in summer.
