Live Accordion Music on Sunday

Joy and pain, ecstasy and despair – the Baroque period was not lacking in exaggerated emotions. In the program "Heavenly High Elated, Grieved to Death," the five musicians of the Cardinal Points Ensemble explore seemingly opposing emotional states in the works of Bach, Buxtehude, Vivaldi, and other greats of the Baroque. Historically informed performance practice forms the basis for a moving musical experience.
