Neue Bamberger Hütte

The area around the New Bamberger Hut and its location above the tree line offers a variety of hiking opportunities, making a multi-day stay very worthwhile. The local mountain, Schafsiedl, is popular. Other sought-after destinations include Kröndlhorn, Tristkopf, Markkirchlein, and Salzachgeier. All routes are well marked.
Numerous idyllic lakes and tarns testify to the abundance of water in the Kitzbüheler Alps.

In winter, ski tourers can expect top-notch ski touring options. The generally small altitude differences of up to 700 meters and beautiful, gentle slopes make the area appealing for beginners and snowshoers as well.

Space for groups of up to 20 people. Modern technical equipment (TV with laptop connection) is available for training sessions. The room is separate (with its own door) from the rest of the catering area, so please make a separate reservation with our hut host! Exams can also take place there.
