At Brixental Mountain Lights summer is celebrated in a traditional manner: In Hopfgarten, Itter, Kirchberg, Brixen im Thale and Westendorf, clubs and local hosts light over 50,000 torches on the mountainsides. This creates impressive fire images – from the music lyre to the skier. When darkness falls, the freshly mown meadows in Region Hohe Salve are transformed into flaming works of art. An atmospheric supporting program featuring mountain light festivals.
