If you want to enjoy nature in the Kitzbühel Alps without sacrificing a certain level of comfort, then the Heualm is the perfect place for you. Located almost at the end of the Kelchsau valley in the so-called "Kurzer Grund" (Short Valley), you'll find our alpine chalet.
It's a modern building with space for up to 8 people (2 bedrooms with double beds, one with a double bed and bunk beds, 2 bathrooms, and a separate toilet). In addition to the bedrooms, there's a cozy living room for relaxation and a large kitchen table for gatherings. Our sauna and whirlpool also contribute to your well-being. And everywhere you go, you have direct views of the Tyrolean mountains and the alpine meadows surrounding the house.
The small village of Kelchsau, with a shop and restaurant, is about 6.5 km away. The Alpengasthof Wegscheid is only 1.5 km away. From there, hiking trails lead up to the high alpine pastures in the valley and to the Bamberger Hütte mountain hut, part of the Austrian Alpine Club, and to Schafsiedl with its Wildalmsee lake. This region has even been nominated for the title of Austria's most beautiful place ("9 Treasures – 9 Places").
