Things to know about Brixental
In contrast to many other alpine valleys, Brixental valley does not end in a valley head but is open to both sides. It joins the Inntal in the west with the region of Kitzbühel in the east. The glaciers of the ice age gave the valley its enclosed basin shape and shaped the ancient rocks of the mountains to make a perfect hiking terrain.
The Brixental with its excellent infrastructure is surrounded by an impressive alpine world and is considered a link between Austria's largest interconnected ski area, the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental, and the famous ski area of Kitzbühel/Kirchberg. It's not only in winter that guests get their money's worth, but summer in Brixental also provides plenty of distraction.
