Winter hike to Gasthaus Ruetzen

From the village center of Kirchberg, walk through the underpass and continue along the Weinbergweg to the Weinberghof, then turn left along the Wehrbachweg until you reach the Sonnbergstraße. Turn left here until the junction for Spertendorf, then continue right towards Hölzwinkl. Hike up the quiet road to the Ruetzenhof. For the return journey, either take the same route as the ascent or turn off in Spertendorf towards the main road, cross it, and hike along the meadow path towards the railway. After the small underpass, the walking path back to the village runs to the left of the railway tracks.
