The Kirchberg Trail begins exactly where you’d want it to: at the very top. Starting from the Flecklambahn mountain station, the route winds its way down toward the valley, featuring a mix of tight and sweeping turns. Natural terrain elements alternate with small, man-made features—berms flow into rollers, and "side hits" are there for those who spot and choose to take them (though they are entirely optional). While the trail remains manageable for beginners, it is physically demanding. Three connecting sections along forest roads offer a chance to catch your breath. A note for downhill (DH) bike riders: due to land ownership and nature conservation requirements, the trail includes three short uphill sections, each with an elevation gain of 10 to 15 meters. For riding in our region, we recommend an enduro bike!
At the end of the trail:Attention! The trail ends at state road 203! At the end of the trail, there is a fence chicane designed to slow you down—you will need to push your bike through! Afterwards, please stop 1 m before the road! Beware of the main road with cars, trucks, tractors, etc.!Please line up individually. Guide children safely over the embankment onto the road!Turn right along the L203 road towards Gaisberg (900 m), Kirchberg center, and from the center follow the cycle path back to the Fleckalmbahn!
