Tip: Visit the Harlaßanger Chapel and Kobingerhütte

Harlassanger chapel
A detour on this hike to the Kobingerhütte and the Harlaßanger pilgrimage chapel is highly recommended. Every year on 2 July a pilgrimage takes place via the Brixner Way of the Cross to Harlaßanger chapel, which incidentally belongs to Brixen. According to a legend, the name Harlaßanger is derived from quarrels between two rival witch groups, who often had to "arg Haare lassen" (leave hair) on the village greens.

Only where you've been on foot, have you truly experienced.
