Start at the info office in St. Johann in Tirol. Take the cycle path in the direction of Weitau and turn off at the car repair shop "Fahrzeit" in Rettenbach. Follow the Wilder Kaiser cycle path no. 14, where you will soon pass the Römerhof. Along the way you will have a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains and the tranquil buildings in the beautifully situated district of Prama.
At the bathing lake in Going, it is best to follow the road towards Stanglwirt. Pay attention to the turn to the left into Kaiserstraße! From there on, the trail goes uphill, initially along an asphalt road that after a while turns into a well-maintained forest road. You will pass the nostalgic Tannbichl chapel and always follow the signs for Ackerlhütte via Regalm.
The Regalm was newly built in 2008 and offers a beautiful view of the large Rettenstein and the Kitzbüheler Horn. On the way to the hut, the imposing southern peaks of the Wilder Kaiser impress every passerby.
