Gruttenweg No. 4

Starting point is the Oberndorf Tourist Office. Follow Lindenweg towards Grutten and up to the small hamlet of Holztratt. The Bichlach’s rolling hills start shortly after the last houses. The hike takes you past beautiful farmhouses, and there are frequent views of the Kitzbüheler Horn, Wilder Kaiser, Hahnenkamm, Rauher Kopf and Gaisberg. On clear days you can see all the way to Grosser Rettenstein from the hike’s highest farmhouse, the Gruttenbauer. Continue towards Brandl and down to Oberndorf. The trail takes you past a quarry and the hamlet of Schmiedboden. Stay to the left to get to the federal road. Follow the road for a couple of minutes and then make a left to get back to the center of Oberndorf.
