Summit Hike in the Kaiser Mountains
Group offer: Every Tuesday we offer our weekly via ferrata tour to the Kitzbüheler Horn. Freedom, gripping rock, steep ascents, airy ridges, and a unique view await us there. Participants will learn everything about the right technique and the suitable equipment.
Suitable for children from 8 years old.
Meeting point: Valley station Harschbichlbahn St. Johann in Tirol
Duration: approx. 4 hours
Self-contribution: € 80 per person with St. Johann Card (€ 100 without guest card).
Excluding mountain railway ticket - with three overnight stays in the St. Johann - Oberndorf - Kirchdorf - Erpfendorf region, a ride with the Harschbichlbahn is included with the guest card.
Equipment: Helmet*, climbing harness*, via ferrata set with fall arrester* (*Rental equipment available if needed - € 20 per person)
Hiking equipment, mountain or hiking shoes, via ferrata or cycling gloves, small backpack.
Elevation gain: 250 m
Technical: #### For experienced mountain hikers who can safely handle exposed alpine paths and trails with short cable-secured sections. Surefootedness and freedom from dizziness are required.
Condition: ## 200-600 meters of elevation gain in ascent and descent | Via ferrata: C/D
This tour is conducted with a minimum of two participants. Maximum of 6 participants per mountain guide.
Registration until the day before at 12:00 p.m. online or directly with the Kitzbüheler mountain guides
Each registered participant will be contacted by the mountain guide by phone the evening before the tour. To ensure that we can always offer our guests a unique mountain experience, we reserve the right to make minor program changes and adjust the start time and meeting point according to conditions and weather. In case of very bad weather, we are happy to offer introductory courses in the climbing halls of Kitzbühel or St. Johann.
