Event information

The forestry operation Unterinntal consists of equal parts forest and clearings in the high mountains. With more than 22,000 ha, it has the largest protective forest areas of the federal forests. This means that the care of the tree stocks serves not only to preserve the forest itself but also to protect the residential areas from natural hazards. The main tree species in the forestry operation Unterinntal is the spruce, followed by the fir and the beech.
