Along the way, Steff shares not only fascinating insights about the local fauna and flora but also numerous stories and peculiarities from the region that make this tour an authentic Tyrolean experience.
The tour starts at the tourism office in St. Johann and leads comfortably uphill with the Harschbichl cable car – free for guests staying three nights or more. From there, the ascent takes approximately one hour along a red hiking trail to the Kitzbüheler Horn, passing by the impressive rock gate and enjoying magnificent views of the Tyrolean mountains. At the summit, a spectacular panorama awaits you extending to the Großglockner. The return route goes over the Hofer Schneid and the Jägersteig back towards Harschbichl, where a cozy break at the Harschbichlalm or a relaxed descent by cable car is recommended.
