Summer-Special: The World of Bouldering with Julian Wimmer

For children aged 6 – 11 years

(On 06.08, the workshop for children and teenagers aged 12 – 16 years will take place.)

Julian Wimmer, the exceptional bouldering talent of the region, was already a passionate climber at the age of four. At just 20 years old, he already boasts many top placements on national and international stages.

You have the unique opportunity to discover the world of bouldering with Julian! Whether you are starting out in bouldering or bringing your first experiences, this workshop has something for everyone. At the beginning, you will learn what bouldering is and why this special form of climbing is captivating more and more people. The session will start with the basics, the importance of warming up, and the techniques needed so that you can climb safely and joyfully.

Julian will share insights into his personal career and successes in the World Cup – an inspiring journey that shows what is possible with passion and perseverance.

Of course, practice will not be neglected: you will get on the wall yourself, try out different boulders, and receive valuable tips that will help you directly. Games and small challenges also make the workshop varied and ensure plenty of fun and motivation. Join us and discover what you are made of – we look forward to seeing you!

The Summer Special Workshop is free with the St. Johann Card and guest cards from the regions of St. Johann in Tirol, PillerseeTal, Brixental, and Hohe Salve (without guest card € 10.00) 

Shoes can be rented on-site in the bouldering hall for a fee. Participants will receive a discounted admission price of € 7, including rental equipment for the bouldering hall.
