E-Bike Tour

This exciting bike tour combines movement, enjoyment, and fascinating insights into regional organic farming. Starting from St. Johann, the route first leads to the well-known vegetable farmer Toni Baldauf in Kirchdorf, whose farm is known for fresh, high-quality produce from Tyrol. Next, you will visit the idyllic organic farm of Elisabeth and Werner Hofer in Oberndorf. As the chairman of the “BioKaiser” farmers, Werner will provide interesting insights into sustainable organic beef production and the life of a modern organic farmer during a personal farm tour. Surrounded by an impressive panorama with views of the Wilder Kaiser and the Kitzbüheler Horn, you will also enjoy a hearty snack featuring farm specialties. The tour continues to the organic beekeeping operation of Hans Peter Foidl, where you can taste a variety of honey creations – from classic honey to unusual varieties like chili honey. The tour concludes with a visit to the neighboring organic farm Adler run by Carmen Baur and Georg Jöchl, where high-quality organic dairy products are produced. The delightful discovery journey wraps up at the weekly market, where local producers offer their specialties and you may encounter Toni Baldauf again at his vegetable stand.

Equipment: We recommend riding an E-bike. If you are fit, you can certainly keep up with the organic bike. Rental bikes are not included. The tour is led by a bike guide from the Bikeacademy.

Tip: All products can be purchased on-site! Don't forget cash and a backpack for transport!
