50 plus MTB Trail Beginner Course

“In different performance groups with a maximum of 7-8 participants, every woman feels comfortable and can take away a lot from the Bikeacademy Women’s Camp weekend. The girls in the expert group of the Women’s Camp rock the wildest trails of the Kitzbüheler Alpen, but our courses are also ideal for beginners on singletrails. Anyone who has been there before will always find a new challenge, and of course, E-bikers are also warmly welcomed,” says head coach Karin Exenberger.

Target group
We support you in the BIKEACADEMY Women’s Camp with 3 professional trainers and offer the levels Trail Basics, Advanced, and Experts:
Trail Basics – For girls who already have mountain biking experience and have been on easy singletrails. We provide you with security and the basic techniques to further develop your skills. Goal at the Bikeacademy Women’s Camp: Safe riding of trails up to difficulty level S1. Basic behavior, cornering technique, overcoming obstacles, braking technique, steep descents…
Advanced – You are already very confident on easy trails and want to finally take the next step? Then you are in the right place at the Bikeacademy Women’s Camp! Master switchbacks, terrain steps, overcome obstacles, light drops, …
Expert – You are a frequent rider and want to master enduro and bike park techniques in your sleep? Jump basics, executing switchbacks with the rear wheel, drops, stoppies, manuals, bunny hops, … These techniques are in demand and with our methodological structure under the guidance of professional trainers in the Women’s Bike Camp, they are not as unattainable as they may initially sound!
Equipment Requirements:
Bike: We recommend a full suspension bike or at least a trail hardtail, either as a regular bike or as an eBike, for participation! The focus of all levels in the Bikeacademy Women’s Camp is on riding singletrails. Uphill riding is minimal; we usually use lifts for uphill shuttles. Your bike must be well maintained and have nearly new tread tires with good grip on earthy, stony surfaces.
Pedals: You can participate in the Bikeacademy Women’s Camp with flat or clipless pedals!
Equipment: Bring a backpack, bike clothing, and rain gear; your own bike shoes are also advantageous. Sunglasses and sunscreen. A snack for between rides is also handy.
Protective Equipment: We recommend knee and elbow pads – you must bring these yourself or get them before your arrival at our shop Sport Patrick in Oberndorf. You will also need a half-shell helmet, sports glasses, and full-finger gloves. You can always use individual, additional protective equipment!
