With his brand new release “Everybody Else’s Life Too (on the renowned label Corbett vs. Dempsey) Josh Berman surprises us again with a firework of captivating jazz. Berman is one of the most active players in the Chicago avant-garde jazz scene. His incomparable playing on the cornet fascinates not only his audience, but also a good portion of Chicago's jazz heroes have played with him. In this trio, his long-time companion Jason Roebke on double bass is back in the mix, and the master drummer Chris Corsano – who is active in nearly all areas of experimental music – completes Berman’s dynamic trio.
