Austria Backyard Ultra

The mode of the Backyard Ultra is quite simple.

Every hour, the runners start on a 6.706 km (= 4.167 miles) long course. They have exactly one hour to finish the lap. Anyone who does not complete the lap in time and is not back at the start is out!

No late starts! Very easy! ;-)

The event continues until only one runner is left on the course. => open end

Timeline Kirchdorf 2025

Friday, 18.09.2026:
5:00 PM to 7:00 PM: Bib number collection

Saturday, 19.09.2026:
7:00 AM to 8:30 AM: Bib number collection
9:00 AM: START Austria Backyard Ultra Kirchdorf in Tirol

Musical accompaniment and moderation will take place from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM

Award ceremony for the Backyard Ultra will not take place. Prize presentation and DNF medal handover will occur immediately after the runner's DNF.

Runner DNF: If you feel more drawn to the food area rather than the starting line, you must independently unregister with the organization, return your timing chip, and receive your very own DNF medal.
