During this varied tour, you will discover significant testimonies of Kirchdorf's history: from the historic Metzgerhaus, one of the oldest houses in the village and a symbol of former village life and craftsmanship, to the Rupert-Wintersteller monument, which commemorates the famous Tyrolean freedom fighter and his commitment to the freedom of Tyrol. After that, you will visit the Kaiser-Heinrich chapel with its unique underground beer cellar and experience the rare opportunity to climb the Kirchdorf church tower together with the deacon, which offers exciting insights into its history as well as an impressive view of Kirchdorf and the surrounding mountains. The cozy conclusion will be the tasting of a traditional Tyrolean specialty – a homemade press knödel soup or a hearty barley soup.
