1st stage: KAT-Bike LIGHT comfortable: Angerberg - Ellmau

The KAT Bike Light starts in Angerberg or Mariastein.Both places are located in a quiet area above the Inn Valley and offer an impressivemountain panorama. The nearest train station is in Wörgl. From there,you can reach Angerberg or Mariastein either comfortably by bus oralternatively with a leisurely 30-minute bike ride.Along the Inn Cycle PathFrom Angerberg, we first follow theUnterinntal-Landesstraße to the small village of Angath. There we switch tothe well-known Inn Cycle Path, which takes us directly along the Inn River toKufstein. Even from a distance, the town is recognisable by its imposing fortress, which towers high above the Inn.Past the Wilder KaiserIn Kufstein, we leave the Inn Cycle Path and switch to theEibergradweg (No. 28). This leads through the impressive Weißach Gorge tothe turn-off to Schwoich. From here, the cycle path runs idyllically along theWeißache, nestled in a varied natural landscape.We follow the path to the district of Stockach and switchthere to cycle path no. 14 ‘Wilder Kaiser’. In Ellmau, we pass the golf course and then reach our destination for today.
